Accessible Buggy Shuttle
This service is exclusively designed for individuals with mobility impairments or the elderly who encounter challenges in traversing distances on foot. It is a six-seater buggy shuttle service operating from the Event & Accessibility tent located within the Championship Village.
The shuttle service provides transportation to various locations, including the 7th tee and the 18th green, and other designated areas. Additionally, it is possible to request the shuttle to collect hired scooters from Event Mobility.
To access this service guests must have a Vulnerable Persons Wristband. These wristbands can be collected from the Information & Accessibility tent situated near the Welcome entrance arch.
Accessibility Service Team
There will be a dedicated Accessibility team who are based in the Information & Accessibility tent in the Championship Village. The team will aim to help guests with physical or hidden disabilities. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about accessibility.

Blue Badge Parking
Blue Badge parking is Car Park 2. To apply for a space in this car park, please email ticketing@etghq.com in advance with details of your car (registration, make and model) and the day of your visit. Please also bring your Blue Badge with you to present on arrival.
Event Mobility will be located close to Car Park 2, offering mobility scooter and wheelchair hire. Click Here to hire.
If you have mobility needs but no Blue Badge, please head to the public Park & Ride car park. On arrival speak to the parking staff who will direct you to a dedicated area which is close to the bus pick up area.

Vulnerable Person Wristbands
“Vulnerable Person” wristbands are available from ticketing staff and at the Information & Accessibility tent at the entrance to the Championship Village.
These have been produced to help us maintain the safeguarding of children at this event. Children under the age of 12 are required to wear a vulnerable person wristband, and this is also extended to those attending the event with vulnerable adults. A contact number and as much or as little additional information as you wish can be written on the inside of the wristband.
Spectators wishing to use the Accessible Shuttle Service should also collect a Vulnerable Person wristband from the Information & Accessibility tent.
Visually Impaired Spectators
Certified Assistance Dogs that are trained by members of Assistance Dogs (UK) are welcomed to the Grounds. Please note they must be always kept on the lead.
Event Mobility Scooter & Wheelchair Hire
Event Mobility (which is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters (£35) and manual wheelchairs (£15) for hire at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors. They will be located in Car Park 2, next to the Clubhouse. It will be clearly signposted from Car Park 2.

Spectators can also hire mobility items on the day, however, there is a limited amount of equipment available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Privately owned wheelchairs and other motorised mobility scooters/chairs are allowed on the tournament grounds; however, we encourage you to use Event Mobility. Golf carts are not permitted.
Please note that the liability of using mobility scooters will remain with the user and this should be considered when accessing areas of the golf course.
Accessible Toilet Facilities
Accessible toilet facilities are available at all toilet locations.
Each accessible toilet contains a sink and baby changing table.

Security Check & Entrance
On arrival at the venue, spectators will proceed to the Bag Check. The route leading to the Bag Check tent will be on fairly level grass or stone terrain, with temporary flooring over the top.
The check will include a security search to check for prohibited items. Folding chairs for personal use are allowed.
Those with Accessibility requirements may avoid the queues and join the fast-track Bag Check Lane.
There is not a bag drop facility at this event.
Ticketing Policy
The DP World Tour enjoys welcoming all spectators to its events. The following ticketing policies are in place for the Amgen Irish Open for guests who require a Carer.
CARER - Ticket holders who require a carer to assist them are entitled to receive one free carer ticket to the event. This complimentary Carer ticket can only be ordered online as an add-on following the purchase of a ticket. The carer ticket will be identified on the scanner at time of entry.
To assist us in allocating accessibility resources, we may ask to see a copy of a relevant documents such as a blue badge/ID or disability-related benefit.

Spectator Viewing Areas
There will be accessible viewing platforms at the following locations. These are primarily for wheelchair users and will be managed by the Volunteer team:
7th green
18th green
Grandstands
There are a limited number of reserved seating spaces on the grandstands for those with accessibility requirements.
Access will be on a first-come first-served basis and also be available to accompanying carers (max of one).
1st Tee
7th Green (beside Ticket +)
18th Green*
*All grandstands are free of charge on a first come first served basis, apart from the 18th grandstand is partially reserved. We advise that you take your seat in the grandstand before 5:30pm. After this time, all seating will become unreserved, and you will not be guaranteed a seat.
Hospitality & Ticket+
There will be ramp access to the Hospitality and Ticket+ units at the Amgen Irish Open.
Quiet Room
There will be a Quiet room located near to the Championship Village, the key to which can be obtained from the Information & Accessibility tent.
The Championship wants to be a safe and happy place for everyone to enjoy. We understand that the size of the site and the large crowds mixed in with all the different sounds, lights and experiences can be overwhelming, especially for customers with mental health, emotional or sensory issues. The Quiet Room is available for anyone who needs some space during their visit to the event, including nursing mothers.
Lost & Found
Lost & Found operates from the Information & Accessibility tent located in Championship Village, next to the venue entrance.
First Aid Point
A First Aid point will be situated close to the Championship Village. If you need first aid assistance, please inform an Official, Steward or Marshal.
Course Emergency Evacuation Procedure
Spectators can move freely around the golf course but please stay outside the ropes. Controlled crossing points, which are clearly marked by signposts and manned by course Marshals, should be used when crossing fairways.
Inclement Weather
Please observe the leaderboards and big screens throughout the golf course for weather warning signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. Spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately, avoiding the following:
Open areas
Hilltops or high places
Isolated trees
Golf buggies
Wire fences
Evacuation Procedure
If it is necessary to evacuate the site, please follow the instructions of the course Marshals, Volunteers and event officials in an orderly fashion.
