Please note that the liability of using mobility scooters will remain with the user and this should be considered when accessing areas of the golf course.

Security Check & Entrance

On arrival at the venue, proceed to Bag Check.  The route leading to the Bag Check tent will be on fairly level grass terrain.

The security check will include a bag search to check for prohibited items.  Those with Accessibility requirements may avoid the queues and join the fast-track Bag Check Lane.
There is a bag drop facility within the Welcome Pavilion.

Ticket Office

The Ticket Office is located within the Welcome Pavilion at the main entrance to the BMW PGA Championship, and your tickets will be scanned at this point.

The route up to the Ticket Office from the bus drop off/bag check points will consist of fairly-level grass terrain. The Welcome Pavilion is a hard-floored structure with ramped access.

Accessible spectator viewing is available in dedicated locations around the course from behind the rope line.  Please take care on rough and sloping ground and be aware that some areas may become soft and/or slippery in wet conditions.  Volunteers are briefed to ask the crowd to allow spectators with an impairment to access the front of the rope line where possible.

Hospitality

Hospitality access at the BMW PGA Championship also accommodates lift access.

Vulnerable Person Wristband

Available at the ticket office within the Welcome Pavilion.
We would suggest offering these to parents with young children and those attending events with vulnerable adults.

Spectators choosing to use these, simply need to write a contact number on the inside of the wristband and can then complete as much or as little additional information as they wish. For example, some parents may prefer not to add the name of their child.

Sunflower Landyards

We recognise sunflower lanyards for people who have a hidden disability.  When you wear your sunflower lanyard, a member of staff may ask you if there is anything we can do to help you.

A hidden disability is one that may not be immediately obvious and could be, for example:

Sensory loss, including difficulty seeing or hearing
A physical disability that may not be obvious
Autism
A learning disability
Anxiety or any other mental health condition.

There is no qualifying list of hidden disabilities.  If you have a hidden disability and feel that you would benefit from wearing a sunflower lanyard, please do.

Quiet Room

The Championship wants to be a safe and happy place for everyone to enjoy. However, the size of the site and the large crowds mixed in with all the different sounds, lights, and experiences can be overwhelming especially for customers with mental health, emotional and sensory issues or mothers nursing their babies.

There will be a Quiet room located in the Championship Village map and the key can be obtained from the Information & Accessible Services tent.

Information for Visually Impaired Spectators

Certified Assistance Dogs that are trained by members of Assistance Dogs (UK) are welcomed to the Grounds.  Please note that they must be always kept on a lead.

The First Aid Point

The First Aid point is situated on the right-hand side of the 18th Fairway.

Emergency Evacuation Procedure

In the case of an emergency evacuation, all visitors to the BMW PGA Championship will be directed to localised Assembly Points around the course by a Volunteer.  In the case of a full course evacuation, Championship Officials will assist Volunteers and direct you to the nearest Entry/Exit or Assembly Point Area.

We look forward to welcoming you to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club.
