Angel Ayora and Angel Hidalgo recreate Seve Ballesteros' remarkable recovery shot at Omega European Masters

In the 1993 Omega European Masters, Seve Ballesteros produced a shot that will forever be remembered.

Through his remarkable shot-making ability, he endeared himself to fans around the world and his fearless creativity was on show during the closing stages of the final round 33 years ago.

After a wayward tee shot at the 18th, his ball came to rest among trees and close up to a concrete wall.

Incredibly, defying the advice of his caddie Billy Foster, Ballesteros managed to hit his ball almost vertically up and over the wall to the edge of the green.

From there, he chipped in for a birdie, and while he still fell one shot shy of tournament winner Barry Lane, it remains an integral piece of Omega European Masters and DP World Tour history.

So much so, a plaque was installed as a permanent reminder.

Ahead of this week's edition, Spanish pair Angel Ayora and Angel Hidalgo tried to replicate Ballesteros' brilliance.
