2022 Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett – Ticketing FAQs

HOW DO I ATTEND?

Where & when will the event be held in 2022?

The event will be held from 5 – 8 May 2022 at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, England.

TRANSPORT

Is there parking available for the event, and how much does it cost?

Accessible parking options are available for disabled badge holders, please contact ticketing@europeantour.com with the relevant documentation to secure a spot (if not pre-booked parking will be in the public car park as detailed above).Car Parking will be available free of charge to all ticket holders. 

Follow the yellow AA event signage to the FREE ‘public car park’ for the Betfred British Masters, located off the A4091, from there it will be a short walk to the public entrance via a temporary foot bridge over the main road.

Are there public travel options to attend the Betfred British Masters?

Please refer to the ‘event hub’ section of the website Event Hub - Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett 2022 - DP World Tour (europeantour.com) where full transport details will be published in due course.

There will be a Taxi drop off area for guests within the public car park … Taxi drivers should follow Sat Nav directions to ‘The Belfry Hotel & Resort’ and when closer to the venue follow the relevant temporary AA road signage (yellow) directing car traffic to the ‘public car park’.

DISABLED ACCESS

Event Mobility is delighted to be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk

Priority seating for those with mobility issues will be held in the Grandstand on the 18th and there is also a wheelchair viewing area. Seats / spaces will be allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.

TICKET PRICES & INFORMATION

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are currently in the general prices phase. Adults range from £30 to £40 depending on the day you wish to attend. Adult season tickets are available at a Launch Price of £95 providing a saving if you plan to attend multiple days. Youth tickets (13-17) are provided at a discount and Juniors (12 and Under) attend for free.

‘Concessions - Senior (aged over 60)’ are also offered on season tickets, There are no such concessions for daily tickets.

Valid ID must be presented at the point of entry to be granted access.

Can Juniors come to the Betfred British Masters for free?

Complimentary tickets for those aged 12 years and under are available upon purchase of an Adult ticket. Junior tickets are required to be redeemed at the time of original purchase. All ticket types, including Junior Tickets are subject to availability, and cannot be issued in advance or at the gate once a day has sold out. To add Junior tickets to an existing order, please email ticketing@europeantourgroup.com

Will tickets be available on the door?

We expect demand for the 2022 Betfred British Masters to be high, and therefore recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee your access. Tickets purchased in advance of the week of the event also provide a cost saving.

Can I purchase tickets for access to the Grandstand on the 18th?

The Grandstand seating on the 18th green will be free for all attendees on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis & will not be available to purchase for the 2022 Betfred British Masters.

Priority seating for those with mobility issues will be held and there is also a wheelchair viewing area on the 18th (again on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis)

Will there be Premium Experiences (Hospitality) available to purchase?

Premium Experiences are also available for purchase online and will provide an elevated experience of the Betfred British Masters, please contact hospitality@europeantourgroup.com if you require more information.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

When will I receive my tickets for the event?

Tickets will be sent via email approximately 4 weeks out from the event. All tickets for the 2022 event will be Digital tickets, with no printed tickets available for purchase.

What do I do if I haven’t received my tickets?

If you haven’t received your tickets via email, and there is less than 7 days until the event contact our customer service team - Ticketing@europeantour.com . When contacting us please include your order number, the surname of the booking and the email address used to create the booking. Please do check your junk/spam/clutter folder in your emails before contacting us.

I have bought a ticket for one day of the event, but would like change to a different day. Is this possible?

Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable under these circumstances.

What happens if the event is cancelled or goes behind closed doors?

Ticket buyers will receive a refund if their ticket is cancelled by the PGA European Tour due to COVID-19. Full details can be found within our Ticket T&Cs

What happens if capacity for the event is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions?

Ticket buyers will receive a refund if their ticket is cancelled by the PGA European Tour due to COVID-19.

Will there be social distancing in place at the event?

The Health & Safety of fans, players & staff will be at the centre of all planning for the event, and government guidance at the time of the event will be followed in this respect. If there is a requirement for social distancing or contact tracing during the event, we will contact ticket purchasers directly to advise on next steps.

What happens if local COVID-19 restrictions where I live impact my ability to travel to the event?

If the Ticket Purchaser is unable to attend the 2022 Betfred British Masters with spectators because they live in an area which is subject to a local lockdown, restricting them from being able to come to the venue, a full refund will be issued (Subject to conditions outlined within the Full Ticketing T&Cs).
