It's good to talk

Ryan Fox was level par for the day when he spoke to on-course reporter Tim Barter as he made his way from the 11th tee and the friendly chat seemed to work wonders. Fox birdied the 11th and 12th and then picked up three more shots over the final four holes to establish a one-shot lead.

Zanotti makes the most of moving day

Fresh from recording his first top ten finish of the season at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett, Zanotti climbed 36 places on the leaderboard with a bogey-free 65 which featured four birdies in a row from the third hole and further gains on the 14th and 16th.

Every day's a school day
