DID YOU KNOW -  TSHWANE OPEN

• The Tshwane Open is the sixth of seven events co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour during the 2015 season.

• Should Ross Fisher make a successful defence of the title it would be the first time during his career he has managed to achieve this feat.

• A successful defence would see Fisher join Andy Sullivan to become only the second Englishman to win two European Tour events on South African soil.

• Andy Sullivan will be looking to win his third European Tour title of the 2015 season and third on South African soil. Should he win again he would become only the fourth player in European Tour history to win their first three titles in the same country. He would follow: Tommy Horton and Tom Watson (three wins in England) and Phil Mickelson (three wins in the USA).

• Another milestone Sullivan is looking to chase is he would become the first player to win three co-sanctioned events with the Sunshine Tour in the same season.

• Dawie Van der Walt won the inaugural Tshwane Open in 2013, to claim his first European Tour title. His second followed in the 2014 season at the Nelson Mandela Championship presented by ISPS. Should he win a second Tshwane crown he would become the first South African to win their first three European Tour events on home soil.

• Pretoria Country Club is being used for the first time in European Tour competition. It is also the first time Pretoria has staged a European Tour event, co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour.
