This week European Tour Weekly travels to Switzerland for the Omega European Masters. As always we will be on the range at Crans-Sur-Sierre to bring you all of the latest news prior to the event.
The Crans-Sur-Sierre course will be hosting the tournament once again where last year it became the first event co-sanctioned by The European Tour and the Asian Tour to be staged on European soil. Sweden’s Alex Noren will be returning as defending champion and we will be spending some time with Alex where he recounts his victory and first European Tour title.
As always, we look back at the most recent European Tour event. This week that means a return to Scotland for the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. The event took on an even greater significance as it represented the final chance for players to gain automatic qualification for Colin Montgomerie’s European Ryder Cup team. As always, we will highlight all of the significant action.
In a special feature, European Tour Weekly will also hear from Colin Montgomerie as he makes his three picks for his team. With so much debate on whom his picks will be, the announcement of his three wild card selections will be dramatic and ETW will be at Gleneagles to capture all the excitement.
Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
