1 Qualifying School graduate from 2011
Having missed out on graduating from The Challenge Tour in 2011, falling out of the top 20 in the Rankings at the final event,Branden Gracewas forced to go to the Final Qualifying Stage if he were to pick up a European Tour card for 2012. And in an always tense week at PGA Catalunya Resort he proved his metal, getting the 11th card, and just two events later he was a European Tour winner having picked triumphed at the Joburg Open. How quickly fortunes can turn, as proved by his win the following week at the Volvo Golf Champions, and when he also picked up gold at the Volvo China Open and Alfred Dunhill links Championship later in the season, it completed a stellar year that sees the South African riding high at sixth on the Race to Dubai with just one event remaining.
