One of the UK’s leading sight loss charities, Guide Dogs will be the Official Charity Partner of the Husqvarna British Masters for the third time, as the popular tournament marks the start of the Back 9, the second phase on the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai schedule, with increased Rankings points on offer throughout.

Six-time Major Champion Sir Nick Faldo, who hosts the Husqvarna British Masters for the fourth consecutive year, has again chosen Guide Dogs to be this year’s beneficiary as a charity close to his heart.

Guide Dogs helps people with sight loss live the life they choose. Whether it’s children or adults, friends or family. Whoever they are, the expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are there to help them.

Founded in 1934, following their first partnership in 1931, Guide Dogs is a charity that is almost entirely dependent on donations. Find out more at guidedogs.org.uk.

Tournament host Faldo said: “I am thrilled to welcome Guide Dogs back to the Husqvarna British Masters as the Official Charity again in 2026.

“It was great to learn more about the fantastic work Guide Dogs do over the past two years, and I am so grateful to everybody as we raised a huge £168,000 last year which makes a real difference to those living with sight loss in the UK.

“I’m looking forward to spending some time with the Guide Dogs team again this year and hopefully we can raise more vital funds during the Husqvarna British Masters.”

Tournament Title Partner Husqvarna have pledged to support the fundraising efforts and will donate £50,000 for the first hole-in-one made by a professional on the iconic par three 14th hole, the same hole that tournament host Sir Nick Faldo recorded an ace during the 1993 Ryder Cup.

Samantha Donnelly, Global Sponsorship Manager at Husqvarna, said: “We’re delighted that Sir Nick has once again chosen to support Guide Dogs, and we’re proud to play a part in helping raise vital funds for such an incredible charity.

“The Guide Dogs activations in the Fan Village were a fantastic addition to last year’s event, creating memorable experiences for spectators while highlighting the charity’s important work. We look forward to building on that success this year and, of course, hoping the players can do their bit with a hole-in-one.”

The ever-popular Long-Putt Challenge will return to the PGA Village, alongside the Iconic Shots Simulator, giving spectators the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and donate to Guide Dogs. Spectators can take part in each of the activations for a minimum donation of just £3 for the Pro-Am day and £5 from Thursday - Sunday, while donation points will be situated in various locations around The Belfry.

Andrew Lennox, CEO at Guide Dogs, said: “We’re delighted to once again be the official charity partner of the Husqvarna British Masters. Last year’s tournament raised an incredible £168,000 for Guide Dogs, helping us support people with sight loss to live the life they choose. As well as raising vital funds, the event shone a spotlight on the life-changing impact of our services, some of our amazing volunteers, and of course enabled people to meet our iconic dogs.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the DP World Tour, Husqvarna, and the fans and players for their continued support. Their commitment makes a real difference, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic tournament and the opportunity to build on the past two years’ success.”

The Husqvarna British Masters has a rich legacy as one of the DP World Tour's most historic events. This year's tournament will be the 23rd event held at The Belfry as part of Golf’s Global Tour, with the Sutton Coldfield venue first hosting the Lada English Golf Classic in 1979, won by the late Seve Ballesteros.
