There may be a break in play on the DP World Tour, but for many the grind doesn't stop.
With no action on the Race to Dubai over the next two weeks, a host of DP World Tour members are readying themselves for the run-in to the PGA TOUR's regular season.
Across the next two tournaments stateside, starting with this week's Rocket Classic and culminating with next week's Wyndham Championship, players will vie to finish among the top 70 in the FedExCup standings.
For those who do, they will qualify for the first leg of the three-event FedExCup Playoffs - the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The top 50 then progress to the BMW Championship, before the field for the Tour Championship is whittled down to 30.
Several leading global stars such as Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Ludvig Åberg and 2026 Major winners Rory McIlroy, Aaron Rai and Ryan Fox have long since assured their place for the Playoffs.
Kristoffer Reitan is the pick of the bunch from last season's class of dual members, with the Norwegian - a graduate of the HotelPlanner Tour in 2024 - making a major breakthrough in his career with victory at the Truist Championship, a Signature Event on the PGA TOUR.
Among others are Alex Fitzpatrick, who since winning his maiden DP World Tour title at the Hero Indian Open has starred stateside after claiming PGA TOUR membership through victory alongside his brother Matt at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
With two runner-up finishes to his name, Nicolai Højgaard will have a spot in the Tour Championship in his sights as he comes into this week in 30th place on the regular season rankings.
But there are many who still face a late battle to secure their spots.
Harry Hall made it to East Lake last season but will need to play well over the coming weeks if he is to repeat the feat, with the Englishman 60th at the moment after three missed cuts in his last four appearances.
So, with the Closing Swing pausing before resuming in Denmark from August 13-16, here's a rundown of some of the DP World Tour members teeing it up at Detroit Golf Club this week as they chase a strong finish to the PGA TOUR campaign.
Jordan Smith secured his PGA TOUR playing privileges for this year by finishing among the top ten DP World Tour members not otherwise exempt on the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World last season.
Across 19 starts, the Englishman - a two-time DP World Tour winner - has made 13 cuts. His best result so far is solo third at the Valspar Championship in March, since when he has added two further top-20s including at the recent Open Championship.
At 67th in the FedExCup, the 33-year-old is currently in line to make it to Memphis which would cap an excellent campaign across the Atlantic, that has seen him feature at THE PLAYERS Championship and Signature Events.
His countryman John Parry is another rookie stateside, with the 39-year-old firmly in contention to play his way to the start of the Playoffs next month.
With his wins on the DP World Tour spanning a 14-year gap, Parry has had to wait for this opportunity but he has wasted no time in making an impression as the dual member made the cut in each of his first 12 starts this season on the PGA TOUR.
While he has since missed the weekend action in three of his last six appearances worldwide, a repeat of his top ten at the Puerto Rico Open over the next two weeks would go a long way to helping him climb from 85th and secure his spot at TPC Southwind for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen won the Road to Mallorca Rankings on the HotelPlanner Tour after winning three times in 2024 and the Dane has since continued his remarkable rise to wider prominence by last season becoming a dual member and then claiming his maiden DP World Tour title at the Crown Australian Open in the second week of the 2026 season.
Another rookie stateside, the 27-year-old will be hoping he is timing a late run to qualify for the FedExCup PlayOffs, with a career-best tie for ninth in a Major at The Open backed up by a top 20 at last week's 3M Open.
His season's best result came at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, where he teamed up with countryman Jacob Skov Olesen to finish tied fourth in the team stroke play event.
Matt Wallace boasts plenty of PGA TOUR experience, having played 159 events and won at the Corales Puntacana Championship in 2023.
This season, the five-time DP World Tour has again played a combined schedule across two tours and came close to victory at last month's DS Automobiles 83° Open d'Italia during the European Swing.
However, despite finishing tied second at the Valero Texas Open in April, he needs another big performance to make the Playoffs after two missed cuts in his last four appearances.
Of those outside the top 100, Marco Penge is the best placed to make a big leap but after a campaign impacted by his health, the Englishman who won three times last season to finish second on the Race to Dubai Rankings is perhaps just happy to be nearing full fitness.
Limited to 14 starts, he is 107th in the standings but his best result is a tie for fourth at the Valspar Championship and a top 20 at The Open earlier this month underlined his potential for a big result.
Among other DP World Tour members teeing it up with faint hopes of extending their season stateside beyond next week's Wyndham Championship are Jesper Svensson, Keita Nakajima, Rasmus Højgaard, Haotong Li and Dan Brown.
The field for the Rocket Classic is headlined by Chris Gotterup and Wyndham Clark, with the American pair third and fourth in the current FedExCup standings.
