The former One Direction singer will tee off the first at 1.30pm at Galgorm Castle Golf Club and is looking forward to playing with former Tottenham and Liverpool striker Keane.

“I’m delighted my pal Robbie Keane is joining us at the ISPS Handa World Invitational pro-am," he said.

"Robbie and I have been great friends for years so I’m really looking forward to catching up with him next week. We’re playing together on Wednesday and I know Robbie is competitive so I’m sure we’ll have a bit of a laugh on the course.

"It’s great to be back in Northern Ireland for the event and I’m looking forward to what’s shaping up to be a great week."

Horan will not be the only singer on show, with Blizzards frontman Bressie playing alongside Gaelic football star Valerie Mulcahy and retired Irish rugby player Anna Caplice.

That trio will be in the company of Italian two-time DP World Tour winner Guido Migliozzi.

Another former Ireland rugby star in Stephen Ferris is playing with Wichanee Meechai in a sporting trio that includes former footballer Liam Beckett and cricketer Kyle McCallan.

Football manager Tommy Wright, former rugby player Darren Cave and BBC Sports Presenter Stephen Watson play alongside Stephanie Kyriacou, with rugby also represented by former Ireland captain Rory Best and World Cup-winning former England centre Mike Tindall.

Ireland rugby sevens Olympian and Love Island star Greg O'Shea will tee off the 18th in the company of Oliva Cowan and another professional in G4D star Brendan Lawlor.
