The 2026 Amgen Irish Open takes place from September 9-13, bringing not only world-class golf but also a vibrant festival atmosphere with an exciting food and drink offering for visitors of all ages, at Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg, Co. Clare.
Whether you're following the action around the course or taking a break in the Championship Village, fans can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink throughout the five-day event. From gourmet street food and freshly prepared burgers to artisan coffee, sweet treats and refreshing beverages, there will be something to satisfy every appetite.
Sustainability is also a key focus of this year's Amgen Irish Open, with catering partner Aramark Sports & Entertainment Ireland implementing a range of initiatives to reduce the event's environmental impact. From sourcing locally produced ingredients and recruiting a local workforce to using 100% compostable food packaging and an expanded reusable cup scheme, every effort has been made to deliver a more sustainable visitor experience. Innovative food forecasting technology will help minimise food waste, while comprehensive recycling and waste management practices will support the tournament's ambition to divert all event waste from landfill.
The Championship Village will be the heart of the off-course experience, with pop-up bars, casual seating areas and a lively atmosphere where visitors can relax between following the world's best golfers. Alongside the extensive food offering, fans can enjoy interactive experiences, family entertainment and the long putt challenge in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland, with daily prizes to be won.
Visitors attending Super Saturday on September 12th can make a full day of it, with live music from Irish favourites Keywest following the final putt, while All Folk'd Up will round off the tournament with a high-energy performance on Sunday evening.
With children aged 13 and under admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult, families can also enjoy dedicated entertainment throughout the week, including children's activities, live performers, DJs and interactive play areas, making the Amgen Irish Open one of Ireland's biggest sporting festivals.
On the course, fans will have the opportunity to watch Rory McIlroy for the first time in Ireland fresh from his second Masters victory, alongside Major champions Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington, home favourites Séamus Power and Tom McKibbin, plus Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, Tyrrell Hatton, Jon Rahm, brothers Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard and Ryder Cup stars Patrick Reed, Robert MacIntyre, Francesco Molinari, and Sepp Straka.
Paul Gillmon, Championship Director of the Amgen Irish Open, said: “The Amgen Irish Open is about much more than championship golf. We've created a fantastic festival experience where visitors can enjoy great food, live music, family entertainment and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the week. Whether you're here for the golf, the entertainment or simply to enjoy a day out with family and friends, there will be something for everyone in Doonbeg this September.”
