Scott Jamieson edged out Matthew Jordan to win the Closing Swing by just 4.70 ranking points in the tighest finish to a Global Swing since their introduction on the DP World Tour.
The Scot claimed a two-stroke victory over England's Jordan at the Nexo Championship in Scotland on Sunday, ending a near 14-year wait for his second DP World Tour title.
It meant Jamieson finished with 604.30 points on the Closing Swing Rankings, with Jordan agonisingly just behind with 599.60 after also finishing tied second last week at the Danish Golf Championship.
The Closing Swing - five events in four countries across two continents - marked the fifth and final Global Swing on the 2026 Race to Dubai, with the Back 9 beginning this week at the Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. The Global Swings, which form Phase One of the season, were introduced ahead of the start of the 2024 camapign.
Across the Swing, Jamieson made four starts as he also finished 71st at the Genesis Scottish Open, 61st at the Danish Golf Championship and missed the cut at the Corales Puntacana Championship.
As the winner of the Closing Swing, he is exempt for all events on the Back 9 and claims a bonus of US$200,000.
With his victory, he is exempt on the DP World Tour through to the end of the 2028 season and has vaulted from 93rd to 42nd on the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World, with the top 50 set to play at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
Jamieson was the second home winner in as many weeks on the DP World Tour after Jeff Winther claimed his second DP World Tour title at the Danish Golf Championship.
Stefano Mazzoli became a first-time winner on both the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR at the Corales Puntacana Championship, while non members Tom Kim and Steven Fisk did not accrue points towards the Swing for their wins at the Genesis Scottish Open and ISCO Championship respectively.

The player who finishes highest in the Closing Swing Rankings and is not already exempt at the point of close of entries for the BMW PGA Championship will also earn a place in the field at the third Rolex Series event of the season next month.
This spot will be determined on September 3rd, two weeks prior to the tournament at Wentworth Club, but as of today, the spot would go to Filippo Celli.
Following the Nexo Championship, the following leading ten players in the Race to Dubai Rankings who have participated in at least eight Race to Dubai Ranking Tournaments (excluding Majors and Genesis Scottish Open) will share a US$ 1M Global Swings bonus pool:
