Sport Ireland welcomes to you Mount Juliet

Welcome to Mount Juliet on Ireland's Ancient East for the 2021 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. This prestigious event and spectacular venue provide the perfect showcase for the world class golf that can be found throughout Ireland.

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open represents the return of events in a meaningful and engaging manner for both players and the Irish public. Ireland has a rich tradition in producing world-class golfing talent and we are particularly delighted to see so many Irish golfers in the field for this tournament. The Team Ireland Golf Scheme which is funded by Sport Ireland provides a pathway for professional men and women.

The 2021 Irish Open provides these emerging professional golfers in Ireland with an opportunity to compete against the best in the world. We look forward to The Ryder Cup which will return to Ireland in 2027 when Adare Manor, in County Limerick, hosts the biennial contest between Europe and the United States for the first time. The 2021 Irish Open is the first step in a series of planned spectator return events. It is a special event signalling our emergence from the Covid-19 pandemic. We would like to acknowledge the collaboration of a range of partners in order to stage this event in an environment that is safe and enjoyable for all. With the strength of field, the return of the spectators and a spectacular venue in Mount Juliet, we hope everyone enjoys the event safely.
