The group of DP World Tour players were led by Marcel Siem and Ryan Fox and featured golfers of nine different nationalities: Oliver Bekker, Grant Forrest, Marcus Helligkilde, Jazz Janewattananond, Mikko Korhonen, Romain Langasque, Matti Schmid, Connor Syme, Andrew Wilson and Jeff Winther.

Inspired by nine Campbell University students in 2013, Siem and Fox spoke to two of the former college golfers via Zoom to find out how they managed it, how long it took and find out any last-minute tips and advice before attempting the challenge.

Based on Tour putting statistics, the probability of all 12 players holing at the same time was 0.001%, making this a test not just of putting skill but also teamwork, patience and mental strength.

Filmed on the fourth green of the stunning Tour Course at PGA Catalunya – a European Tour Destination – the 12 players went on a rollercoaster of emotions as they battled near misses, lip outs and tactical deliberation in a race against time.

Could they achieve the almost impossible and deliver 12 perfect putts?
