The DP World Tour makes a second visit to Enhance Anting Golf Club for China's national open, which was first part of golf's global tour in 2004.
Local hero and two-time champion Ashun Wu leads a strong home contingent with risings stars Wenyi Ding and Yanhan Zhou also in the field.
Asian Swing leader Jordan Gumberg tees it up as he hunts both Swing glory and a place at the USA PGA Championship, with high-flying Jorge Campillo, Eugenio Chacarra and Andy Sullivan also chasing vital points.
Add in 2026 winners Freddy Schott and Nacho Elvira plus a host of HotelPlanner Tour and Qualifying School Graduates looking for a strong week and we should be in for a thrilling four days.
From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.
Who are the most backed players?
Daniel Hillier last hit a ball competitively on March 1 but the putter in his hand was quickly replaced wth a trophy and he is our most picked player this week, featuring in 56% of teams so far.
In-form Englishman Sullivan comes next on 49%, with Chacarra, Oliver Lindell and Ewen Ferguson rounding out the top five.
Who are our ones to watch?
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Daniel Hillier
It has been quite the 2026 so far for the Kiwi. Just days after getting married to partner Siobhan, he teed it up at his home open and walked away with the title and a place at The Open Championship. He has not played since that victory nearly two months ago but there's nothing to say that won't play in his favour. He has not missed a cut since the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and the 12 events since have brought that win, four top fives and two top tens. That is the form that makes him the highest-ranked player in the field and this week's Favourite - with the bookmakers handing him that tag jointly with Angel Ayora.
Form Horse - Adrian Otaegui
We can all have a bad day, right? The last time Otaegui had a club in his hand competitively he fired an 84 but that was at the fearsome DLF Golf and Country Club and up until that point he had been having a good week. His performance has formed part of a good spell that has seen him record a third last time we were in China off the back of consecutive top tens in South Africa. Otaegui is seventh on the Swing Rankings, inside the top 35 on the Race to Dubai and lists this event among his five DP World Tour wins.
Wild Card - Yanhan Zhou
Everyone loves a fairytale and one wouldn't come much better than this. Home favourite Zhou only turned 18 earlier this month but he has already made a big mark on golf in his homeland. A seven-time winner last season as he won the Order of Merit on the China Tour, he has found results hard to come by so far outside of his homeland, missing the cut in his first three starts as a DP World Tour member and at the Puerto Rico Open on the PGA TOUR. But he finished third at the Hainan Classic presented by MAEXTRO and then second last time out on the China Tour. With home comforts and the fans behind him, he could have another big week.
