Vulnerable Person Wristband Procedure

In order to promote inclusivity and to maintain a safe environment around DP World Tour Golfing Events, we will be offering a coloured wristband procedure to all young children and vulnerable individual at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. From a safeguarding perspective, we at DP World Tour want to encourage everyone to come along and enjoy our event and watch some world class golf without fearing any potential eventualities. DP World Tour aim to achieve this by giving all spectators piece of mind that all safety precautions are put in place.

The purpose of the coloured wristband procedure is for identification purposes. In the unfortunate incident of a missing person at the event, the coloured wristband procedure make all children and vulnerable individuals easily identifiable. At the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, DP World Tour officials, security personnel and event marshals will be aware of the coloured wristband procedure and what it represents. The aforementioned parties will be aware of the pre-determined protocol if they see an unattended individual at the event with a coloured wristband on. Upon finding the unattended individual, the primary objective will be to return said individual to their parent/guardian as soon as reasonably practicable.
