English trio Justin Rose, Tyrrell Hatton and Marco Penge are set to star on home soil at the BMW PGA Championship from September 17-20, 2026, with tickets for the Festival of Golf on sale now at etg.golf/BMW2026Tickets.
The home heroes will join a stellar field including six-time Major winner Rory McIlroy, the past three BMW PGA Championship winners - Alex Noren, Billy Horschel and newly-crowned Open champion Ryan Fox – English Major winner Aaron Rai and European Ryder Cup stars Tommy Fleetwood, Ludvig Åberg and Sepp Straka, for the Rolex Series event at Wentworth Club.
World Number 11 Rose will return for his 21st appearance at the historic event, after claiming his 13th PGA TOUR win at the Farmer’s Insurance Open in January, adding to a glittering CV that includes the 2013 U.S. Open and 2016 Olympic Gold Medal.
Rose, who made his seventh Ryder Cup appearance in Europe’s victory at Bethpage Black last September, said:
“I always enjoy coming back to the BMW PGA Championship and especially playing in front of my home crowd. I’ve played this event a lot over the years and it continues to be a genuine highlight of my season.“
Fellow Ryder Cup star Hatton is aiming for further glory at Wentworth Club, after lifting the BMW PGA Championship trophy in 2020. The eight-time DP World Tour winner, who claimed his fifth Rolex Series title in Dubai last January, said:
“Winning the BMW PGA Championship was very special for me. It’s a tournament that I grew up watching, and being able to lift that trophy in front of English fans was a truly memorable moment. I always look forward to getting back to Wentworth and would love to have more success there.”
Penge finished tied 13th on his BMW PGA Championship debut last year, as part of an incredible season in which he won three times on the DP World Tour and finished second behind McIlroy in the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World.
The 28-year-old, who won the 2025 Seve Ballesteros Award after being voted Player of the Year by his peers on the DP World Tour, said:
“It’s always a pleasure to play on home soil, and making my debut at the BMW PGA Championship last year was an incredible feeling. I look forward to getting back this year and hopefully challenging at Wentworth Club for many years to come.”
BMW Group owners will once again receive preferred parking benefits and there will be a free shuttle service from Virginia Water railway station available to all spectators.
Following record attendance last season, over 100,000 spectators are set to gather for a true Festival of Golf, and fans are urged to secure their tickets early to avoid disappointment. General Admission tickets are already sold out for Saturday, with limited availability on Friday. General Admission is the only option still remaining on Friday, with Treetops presented by Buffalo Trace and all Premium Experience options completely sold out.
The Green on 18 Premium Experience option is sold out across the week, and Treetops presented by Buffalo Trace is sold out Friday to Sunday with limited availability on Wednesday and Thursday.
