2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ World Champion and McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team driver Lando Norris, and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown will again switch the track for the tee box when they return to Wentworth Club for the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday 16 September, 2026.
The duo will be part of yet another star-studded field of famous names from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment, for what promises to be a day of unmissable action at the Festival of Golf. Tickets are on sale now at etg.golf/BMW2026Tickets.
Norris claimed the Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship last year, becoming just the 11th British driver to achieve the feat.
This year will mark Norris’ third appearance in the Celebrity Pro-Am, which is the traditional curtain raiser for the BMW PGA Championship, the keen golfer having played with fellow Englishmen and Ryder Cup stars Tyrrell Hatton in 2022 and Matt Fitzpatrick last year.
Brown will tee it up for a second time at Wentworth Club, following the 2025 edition where he partnered with another home favourite, Justin Rose. Brown, who has been at the helm since 2017, led McLaren Racing to back-to-back Formula 1 Constructors’ Championships in 2024 and 2025, and has established the brand across the global motorsport stage, with teams competing in IndyCar, F1 Academy, F1 Sim Racing, and the World Endurance Championship in 2027.
“We’re thrilled to once again welcome Lando Norris and Zak Brown back to the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am, courtesy of our partners at DP World,” said Darrell O’Hora, Championship Director of the BMW PGA Championship.
“The pair brought incredible energy and atmosphere to last year’s event, and we look forward to adding to our great memories together in a few months’ time.
“More exciting names will be announced soon for this year’s Celebrity Pro-Am, with it once again shaping up to be a day to remember, and we hope to see fans of all ages joining us as part of the Festival of Golf this September.”
Taking place just outside Central London, the BMW PGA Championship offers a thrilling week of world-class golf, a star-studded Celebrity Pro-Am, an atmospheric Spectator Village and live entertainment on the Amazon Leo Live Stage – with British festival favourites The Kooks already confirmed as the Saturday headline act.
With over 100,000 spectators set to gather for a true Festival of Golf, there are a range of experiences for everyone with ticketing options to match – including General Admission tickets for the Tuesday practice day, Wednesday Celebrity Pro-Am and four days of tournament golf, plus the chance to elevate the experience with Treetops presented by Buffalo Trace and Premium Experience options.
BMW Group owners will once again receive preferred parking benefits and there will be a free shuttle service from Virginia Water railway station available to all spectators.
