Golf can be a perplexing game - even for the professionals.
On Friday at the BMW PGA Championship, Robert MacIntyre fired a level par 72 but the scorecard does not even tell half the story.
"Pure round of golf, just pretty simple," the Scot joked after keeping himself at four under with two eagles, a birdie, a double and three bogeys at Wentworth Club.
"I probably had the unluckiest stretch of few holes and then the luckiest stretch of few holes. Yeah, I'm actually fizzing right now but I have two days to fix it."
Starting on the ninth, MacIntyre bogeyed the tenth and then made a double after finding serious sand trouble at the 11th, although it could have been worse were it not for this stunning flop shot.
Another bogey followed on the 12th but he picked up the shot back up on the next before producing a moment of magic on the 15th.
And incredibly, within two holes, he was back under par for the day with another eagle on the 17th.
He parred the first but was clearly not happy with his efforts.
And after he dropped a shot at the fifth, he had to chip in to save par at the next.
Don't worry, Bob. We'd be fizzing too.
