Golf fans around the world can test their skills against the best of the DP World Tour with the launch of the Trackman Virtual Fan Swing – a new global closest-to-the-pin competition.
Across four iconic stops on the Race to Dubai, fans will have the opportunity to play the same holes as the professionals and discover how their best shots compare with those struck in tournament play.
The challenge begins at this week’s Danish Golf Championship before visiting the spectacular Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club for the Omega European Masters and Le Golf National for the FedEx Open de France.
Those who qualify will then progress to the final, played during the season-ending DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.
How does it work?
At each event, DP World Tour players will set the standard by taking on the selected hole during the first round of tournament play.
Fans can then visit a participating Trackman simulator or Trackman Range and take three attempts at the same shot.
Beat the closest effort recorded by the DP World Tour field at any of the opening three events and you will secure your place in the Virtual Fan Swing final.
What can I win?
Any fan who records a hole-in-one during the series will win two season tickets to a DP World Tour event, providing access across the full tournament week.
Finalists who beat the professionals at Jumeirah Golf Estates will be entered into a draw to win a £200 DP World Tour Store voucher, while players who outperform the pros at all four events will receive two General Admission tickets to a DP World Tour event.
