Played most of his career in Asia, before joining the Senior Tour in 2012 after gaining the fifth unconditional card at Qualifying School. Picked up his maiden win at the 2014 Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open in Switzerland, before finishing in a tie for third at The Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex, where he partnered eventual winner, Bernhard Langer, in the last group out on the final day. Also finished second place at the 2014 Russian Open Golf Championship (Senior) during what has been his best Senior Tour season so far. Achieved two top ten finishes during 2015 in the Travis Perkins Masters and Acorn Jersey Open. Born and raised in Canada, he attended Brigham Young University, where he was an All American in 1984. Married to Filipino actress Josephine Garcia, whom he met at the 1987 Philippine Open. After early success in Canada he moved to Asia and won the 1991 Malaysian Open and Order of Merit on the old Asian circuit. Also won twice in Japan in the 1990s. Claimed the Philippine Open in March 2002, which felt like a home victory as he lived in Manila for more than 20 years. Won the Alfred Dunhill Cup for Canada at St Andrews in 1994 with Dave Barr and Ray Stewart and represented his country six times in the World Cup. Is also coach to rising star Miguel Tabuena.
