Langer has been a dominant force on the over-50s circuit and is the all-time Senior Major Championship winner with 11 victories. His 11th came after he secured a record fourth Senior Open Presented by Rolex title in 2019.

Two years prior, he won his third Senior Open title at Royal Porthcawl and in 2014 once again in Wales, in a record-breaking wire-to-wire victory, he won by a staggering 13 shots from Colin Montgomerie.

Langer has won the money list on the US PGA TOUR Champions ten times and is a five-time winner of the Charles Schwab Cup.

Has been a dominant force on the senior circuit and achieved a magnificent double in 2010 when he won back-to-back Senior Major Championships, first The Senior Open at Carnoustie in Scotland, and then the U.S. Senior Open a week later. In doing so he became the first player to win consecutive Senior Majors since Tom Watson in 2003 and the first player from Continental Europe to win the U.S. Senior Open.

One of the big five of European golf during the 1980s, has enjoyed a glittering career as one of the most remarkably consistent, resilient and admired golfers the world over. Received worldwide acclaim - and an Honorary OBE - for his superb organisation and inspirational captaincy of Europe’s Ryder Cup team on their way to a record 18½-9½ victory over the United States at Oakland Hills Country Club in 2004. Represented Europe as a player on ten occasions, just one short of Sir Nick Faldo’s record.

Has been in the upper echelons of the game for more than 20 years - the highlights being his two victories in the Masters Tournament at Augusta National in 1985 and 1993. An Honorary Member of the European Tour, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002. In 2016 was also inducted into the German Sports Hall of Fame.
