    He topped the Challenge Tour Rankings in 2004 and won his first European Tour title at the 2011 Madrid Masters.

    Added a second European Tour win in the late summer of 2015, winning the M2M Russian Open.

    Born in the golfing haven of Southport and encouraged by his father, he took up golf aged ten. Hails the work ethic and flair of Seve Ballesteros as a big inspiration.
