Won the Boys Internationals as an amateur in 2007, before turning professional aged 20.

Graduated from the HotelPlanner Tour in 2011, but struggled with form and fitness over the next two years. Bounced back in style by triumphing twice en route to winning the season-long rankings in 2014.

A fan favourite in the world of golf, and affectionately known as 'Beef', he made his DP World Tour breakthrough by winning the 2016 Open de España and finished tied eighth at The Open Championship in the same season on the way to finishing 26th in the Race to Dubai.

After losing his PGA TOUR card in his rookie season in 2017, he returned to being a popular and consistent performer on the DP World Tour, finishing comfortably in the top 100 on the Race to Dubai in 2018, 2019 and 2021.

A series of protracted injury absences have since halted his progress.
