    Became a first time winner on the US PGA Tour in April, 2001 when he beat Billy Mayfair at the fifth hole of a play-off to win the Worldcom Classic at Hilton Head and followed that with a second US PGA Tour victory, winning the National Car Rental Classic.

    One of 11 children and an ex-caddie, who taught himself the game. Took control of the family's finances after his father was killed in a motor accident. Used to sleep five or six to a bed in family's two bedroom home. Four of his brothers are also professionals.

    Took up game when one brother cut branches off a tree and fashioned a golf club. Started playing by hitting rocks.

    Won $50,000 for a hole in one at the 1992 Dubai Desert Classic - and went on to win the tournament at Dubai Creek eight years later in March 2000.

    Earned his first Staysure Tour title by winning the Swiss Seniors Open at Golf Club Bad Ragaz in July 2019.
