    Spent three seasons on the Challenge Tour before making his breakthrough to the European Tour in 2014, winning the Rolex Trophy en route to graduation.

    Holds the honour of being the youngest winner of the U.S. Amateur Championship, claiming the title in 2009 aged just 17.

    Both of his parents were Olympic medallists in table tennis, his mother Jiao Zhimin representing China and his father Ahn Jae-hyung representing South Korea in the Seoul Games in 1988.
