    Won the Chinese Amateur Open three years in a row from 2019-2021 and was runner-up as an amateur at the Volvo China Open when it was solely on the China Tour schedule in 2020.

    Was still an amateur when he claimed his first victory in a professional event at the 2021 Boao Classic on the China Tour.

    Won the US Junior Amateur in 2022, beating Caleb Surratt 3&2 in the final.

    Enrolled at Arizona State University in 2023 and was runner up at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship that same year after losing in a play-off to Jasper Stubbs.

    Named Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year and Player of the Year in 2024, and named a first-team All-American. Avenged his runner-up finish as he won the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur and finished top of the Global Amateur Pathway Rankings to earn playing rights on the DP World Tour for 2025.

    Turned professional a fortnight after his Asia-Pacific Amateur success and made his pro debut at the HotelPlanner Tour’s Hangzhou Open, finishing in a share of 11th.
