Secured his first win on The European Tour with a stunning victory at The 2009 Celtic Manor Wales Open. A rank outsider at the start of the week but proved he had the ability to win at the highest level by producing an outstanding final round 68 in testing conditions to win by a stroke from Niclas Fasth over The Twenty Ten Course, the venue for The 2010 Ryder Cup.

Failed to match those heights in 2010, finishing 112th in The Race to Dubai with just one top ten, at the Avantha Masters. Arrived at the 2003 European Tour Qualifying School as an amateur but joined the professional ranks on the eve of the tournament. His first professional event was a success as he earned the fourth card at the Qualifying School to take his place on The 2004 European Tour International Schedule.

Subsequently lost his card after a testing debut season, but returned after a successful 2008 season on the Challenge Tour when he won the Lexus Open in Norway and finished runner-up at The Dutch Futures Presented by The Royal Bank of Scotland. Started playing golf aged six when his father introduced him to the game at his home club at Holsterbro. Taught by Denmark’s national coach, Magnus Landstrom, and his assistant, Jan Frej.
