Turned professional in 1985, before travelling to England five years later to study biochemistry in Coventry, while also entering British tournaments with some success. Moved to The Netherlands in 2003 with his wife Irena to work for Shell in The Hague, where he has also taught at Delfland Golf Course. Has since played in the Qualifying School in 2009 where he made it through to the Second Stage. He now plays on the Senior Tour and the EPD Tour.
