Paddy was one of a number of former European Tour players to make his Seniors debut during the 2000 season, making a total of eight starts but winning just £2,758. The genial Irishman has spent his lifetime at County Louth Golf Club, having lived in the village of Baltray since birth. In 1980 he became the club professional and continued a family tradition as his father, Mick, was the pro there before him. Played the European Tour from 1969 to 1975, winning the 1973 Carrolls International at Woodbrook, but since then has dedicated his time to the County Louth Golf Club and Irish PGA circuit. A winner of a number of other events in Ireland including the Irish Matchplay Championship twice and the Irish PGA Championship. Outside golf, Paddy is a keen Manchester United fan.
