Secured his first professional win at the 2017 St Andrews Henan Open on the China Tour, and followed it up with another victory at the White Mountain Wanda Open.

Finished top of the China Tour Order of Merit which enabled him to gain a category on the European Tour for 2018.

Attended school in Canada and then moved to California, where he graduated from high school. He had a solid amateur career, which helped him gain a scholarship at the University of Oregon.
