Became the seventh player to pass the €1million career earnings mark on the Senior Tour in 2008 when he picked up a cheque for €7,209 at the Irish Seniors Open for tied 15th, his best finish of the season. The talented all-round sportsman extended his record of consecutive winning years on the European Senior Tour to four with victory at the 2005 Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open in Switzerland. Enjoyed six top tens on his way to 12th place on the 2005 Order of Merit but was unable to replicate that form in 2006, when he finished 27th – the ninth time he has been ranked inside the top 30 in his first 11 years on the Senior Tour. Became only the sixth player to win three times in a single season during 2003 en route to finishing third in the Order of Merit, and prior to reaching Senior status he won 17 titles - two as an amateur on the Australasian Tour, and nine times in the Far East. Was selected as the second Chairman of the PGA Tour of Australasia. Inducted as a life Member of his home Tour in 1997, following such notables as Ted Ball, Bill Dunk, Kel Nagle, Greg Norman and Peter Thomson. Is also a fine cricketer, having previously represented Western Australia.
