Golf equipment being gathered at the Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo will support the rehabilitation of injured civilians and soldiers through a partnership between the DP World Tour, Ukraine Golf Federation and REGolf Ukraine Foundation.
For the second year running, fans attending at The Belfry Hotel & Resort are being encouraged to donate clubs and other equipment which will then be sent to Ukraine.
All the equipment collected at The Belfry will be donated to the ReGolf Ukraine Foundation, which will coordinate its distribution and use within the “You Can” programme across Ukraine.
The programme is helping to establish golf-based rehabilitation in several locations across Ukraine, with the goal of reaching 17 cities in total.
So far this year, six regions have already launched programmes which are designed to provide a structured pathway - from recovery to international level and representation - for veterans and other participants across Ukraine.
Last year, 144 golf clubs, five golf trolleys, 1,050 used golf balls and a significant amount of both used and new golf clothing were donated.
It is hoped equipment gathered at The Belfry this week will also support participants taking part in an upcoming tournament for both newcomers and experienced players.
First held in 2025, Golf Heroes is an inclusive nationwide golf tournament that will be held annually and take place from September 29-30 at Edem Golf Club in Lviv, Ukraine.
It is expected 138 participants will be involved, all of whom require access to golf equipment and golf balls to take part.
The top three players from the previous Golf Heroes tournament were selected to represent the Ukrainian Para Golf Team at an international tournament in Norway last month.
Olga Blokhina, Executive Director of the ReGolf Ukraine Foundation and Head of Inclusive Golf Developoment at the Ukrainian Golf Federation, said: "The equipment donated last year has been incredibly valuable in enabling us to introduce golf to people who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to try it, as well as supporting those who are now continuing to develop their game as part of their rehabilitation.
"It is making a very tangible difference to people’s lives here in Ukraine."
A shipping container has been again set up at The Belfry for equipment to be collected, before it is shipped to Ukraine.
For fans offering equipment, they will have the opportunity to enter a ticket ballot for the 2027 edition of the British Masters. There will be a QR code at the drop-off location where fans can scan it and enter as a thank you.
