Brilliant Bradbury still on course for wire-to-wire win

Dan Bradbury produced another remarkable display on Saturday as he continued to make the most of a sponsor’s invite. The 23-year-old has led after each of the first three rounds in just his third DP World Tour start, and heads into the final round one shot clear courtesy of his 67. He made back-to-back birdies at the third and fourth before repeating the trick on the sixth and seventh. A bogey on the short ninth meant he led by one shot at the turn before two further birdies and a bogey on the back nine took him to 17 under par.

Jarvis makes flying start

Teenager Casey Jarvis gave us a glimpse of his considerable talent in the second round with eight successive birdies, and he was at it again on Saturday afternoon. The 19-year-old started round three with back-to-back birdies at the first and second before draining his enormous eagle putt from the back of the third green. What a start!

Välimäki's exceptional eagle

When Sami Välimäki sent his tee-shot towards the trees at the par-five third, even he must have thought his chances of making an eagle there were over. But as he muscled his ball out of the rough with his second shot, he managed to avoid the nearby branches and find the edge of the green. The Finn then holed his tricky putt for a three.

Thrilling battle between Bradbury and Välimäki 

A two-horse race appeared to be developing on Saturday afternoon as Bradbury and Välimäki pulled well clear of the chasing pack. Bradbury made four birdies in his first seven holes to establish a comfortable lead before a bogey on the ninth allowed Välimäki to close within one. The Finn pulled alongside him with a birdie on the 13th before they each birdied the short 14th to get to 18 under. A bogey from Bradbury on the 16th handed Välimäki the outright lead but a double bogey on the last meant Välimäki had to settle for second. What a final round we have in store.
