Patrick Reed will return to Italy for the DS Automobiles 83° Open d’Italia at Circolo Golf Torino from June 25-28.
The five-time DP World Tour winner will join a global field, including fellow Major winner Danny Willett and European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, for his second appearance in Italy’s national open after finishing tied 29th in 2024.
Reed has enjoyed a strong campaign to date, winning his first Rolex Series event at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January, before following it up with a second-place finish at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship and victory at the Qatar Masters in the fortnight after.
The 2018 Masters Champion currently leads the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World and will look to add more success when he tees it up in Turin next week.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to Italy and experiencing the Open d’Italia again,” said Reed. “I really enjoyed my last visit and have no doubt we will be in for another great week.
“I am excited to play Circolo Golf Torino for the first time and see what we can achieve.”
Reed will also be joined by Francesco and Edoardo Molinari in the field, the hometown favourites having spent much of their youth playing at Circolo Golf Torino. The Molinari brothers memorably teamed up in the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor as part of the victorious European team, a year after winning the World Cup of Golf together for Italy in 2009.
The DS Automobiles 83rd Open d’Italia is the penultimate event of the DP World Tour’s European Swing, the fourth of five Global Swings included on the 2026 Race to Dubai.
This year marks a return to Circolo Golf Torino, the event having been played there in 1999, 2013 and 2014. The total prize fund for this year’s tournament is US$3 million, with 3,500 Race to Dubai points on offer.
