The Omega European Masters has forged a proud reputation as a leader in sustainability in golf.
Across recent years, Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club has arranged various initatives to preserve its natural environment and support local biodiversity.
As part of plans for the 2026 edition of the DP World Tour tournament, a biodiversity tour will take place on Friday, September 4.
Organised in partnership with Swiss Golf, the guided visit by the club's biologist will provide insights into how actions being taken are helping protect the unique ecosystem of Crans-Montana.
The tour is limited to 15 participants, who must hold a ticket to the Omega European Masters.

Among other initiatives planned by the tournament organisers, visitors to the tournament are being encouraged to choose sustainable transport options whenever possible to help reduce their carbon footprint.
Reducing food waste remains a priority, through the redistribution of surplus food through local organisations and food-saving initiatives such as Too Good To Go, whenever possible.
The tournament is aiming for GEO re-certification this year, a key milestone reaffirming its long-term commitment to sustainability.
