The European Tour Group Sustainability Awards, first launched in 2024, have returned for a third year in 2026 and will once again showcase and celebrate the various suppliers that have pioneered sustainable innovations and practices in their work supporting tournaments on the DP World Tour, HotelPlanner Tour and Staysure Legends Tour.
Entries are now open and close at midnight on 16th November 2026. Entries can be submitted via the entry form here. Further details for applications can also be found here.
The Awards will be biennial going forwards, and there are six new-look categories for 2026:

The Awards are global in nature, with one winner selected in each category. To be eligible, each entry must relate to a project or initiative that was delivered between 1st October 2025 and 15th November 2026.
The judging panel is comprised of a mix of experts from golf tournament operations and sustainability in golf, including external experts from the GEO Sustainable Golf Foundation.
The European Tour Group is committed to being the most sustainable professional golf circuit in the world. As part of its Green Drive sustainability programme, the organisation has signed the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework and committed to achieving net zero carbon.
A key element of the Tour’s overall Sustainability Strategy is that all suppliers are required to meet robust sustainable procurement policies and are encouraged to deliver best in class solutions at events. These Awards will recognise best practice and the spirit of innovation that already exists.
Speaking about the Awards Maria Grandinetti-Milton, Director of Sustainability at the European Tour Group, said: “Delivering a golf tournament is a huge team effort, involving a wide network of trusted suppliers. Finding ways to reduce resource use, waste and emissions needs our full supply chain to play their part and join us on this journey. These Awards are a chance to further stimulate this spirit of innovation, share best practice and celebrate progress. Alongside my fellow judges, I’m excited to see a broad range of sector-leading sustainability initiatives submitted.”
Jonathan Smith, Executive Director of the GEO Sustainable Golf Foundation, added: “The European Tour Group has been quick to identify the potential of collaboration with suppliers. This Awards initiative pulls that into the spotlight, engaging a wide range of companies – large and small, established and start up – with a platform to showcase and share innovation. It is wonderful to see it now evolve to become truly global and accessible, and we are excited to see the range of ideas, technologies, behaviour change campaigns and supply chain adaptations that lead to resource efficiency, circularity and reduced impact on nature, climate and communities. It also comes at a time where the Tour is studying the hidden impacts of tournament supply chains on nature more closely. This is demonstrated in some of the new award categories, and the Tour’s position as a leading signatory of the Sport for Nature Framework.”
