Romain Langasque edges in front after third round in Denmark

Romain Langasque carded a brilliant 67 to earn a one-shot third-round lead after capitalising on fellow Frenchman Antoine Rozner's mistake at the last in the 2026 Danish Golf Championship.

The Frenchman began the day two shots adrift of overnight leaders Rozner and Cameron Adam and despite starting his third round at Great Northern with a bogey, he bounced back with six birdies to climb up to 14 under par for the tournament.

Rozner shared the lead as he reached the par-three 18th, but he found the water with his tee-shot and closed with a double bogey to slip into third place.

Langasque's closest rival was 18-year-old Chinese star Yanhan Zhou, who also registered a 65, to sit at 13 under on a congested leaderboard in Kerteminde.

Langasque is aiming to secure his second DP World Tour title of his career, almost six years since his ISPS HANDA Wales Open success at Celtic Manor.

"I mean, it's a super round," the 31-year-old said. "Obviously the three-putt on the first was not the right start, but I tried to not be focused on what happened and to try to just be myself, playing every shot after shot.

"I think I did a super job today, especially on the tough holes on the back nine. I made some birdies where I didn't expect them, so it was very good.

"I haven't been in that situation for a long time now, so it's good to be back in that position and let's see what I can do tomorrow.

"I don't expect anything of myself. I will go as a warrior and I will fight until the last shot."

Rozner birdied the opening hole for the second day running and when playing partner Adam bogeyed the first, the Frenchman led by two at 12 under.

Adam dropped another shot at the third to slip alongside Langasque, who had bounced back from his early bogey with a birdie at the fifth, and Caleb Surratt at nine under, but Zhou was making his move after a brilliant fifth hole.

The Chinese teenager had birdied the third and fourth before producing a monster 514-yard drive at the par-five fifth.

He was in trouble but executed a stunning approach from the thick rough to set up a lengthy eagle putt which would have joined Rozner at the top, but he had to settle for a tap-in birdie.

The leading Frenchman regained his two-shot cushion with a birdie on the same hole to reach 13 under, only to card bogeys at the sixth and seventh to slip back.

At 11 under, Rozner was still one ahead of Zhou - who had dropped a shot at the seventh - Surratt, Adam, Langasque, Brandon Stone and Matthew Jordan.

Rozner birdied the eighth to double his lead, only for Jordan and Langasque to pick up shots at the ninth and tenth respectively to halve the deficit at 11 under.

The leader wrapped up his front nine with another gain to reach the turn at 13 under, two clear of the chasing pack.

Compatriot Langasque birdied the 12th to become his closest rival, but Rozner responded by picking up a shot on the same hole to become the first player at 14 under.

Langasque hit back with a gain at the 14th and when he followed that with another from 18 feet at the next, he was joint leader.

The scoring plateaued as the French duo held a two-shot lead, that was until Zhou tapped in for birdie at the penultimate hole to sit one behind at 13 under.

Langasque parred his way home to set the clubhouse target at 14 under, with Zhou parring the last as the pair carded superb five-under 67s.

Rozner's back nine had yielded one birdie and seven pars, but he found the water with his tee-shot and eventually dropped behind his Chinese rival to sit in solo third at 12 under.

American Surratt and Jordan both signed for 70s on Saturday to sit one shot further back, while Jeff Winther became Denmark's leading player at ten under in solo sixth.

Home favourite Rasmus Højgaard was joined by Stone and Scottish pair Adam and Ewen Ferguson in a tie for seventh at nine under.
