Here is everything you need to know from Friday's second round at Rinkven International Golf Club.

Home hero Detry puts on a show

Belgium's Thomas Detry gave the home crowds plenty to cheer about on Friday as he posted a sensational 66 to sit two shots off the lead at the halfway stage. Some precision approach play and a host of brilliant birdie putts saw him reach nine under par. Detry is searching for his first win on the DP World Tour, and he admitted it would be a dream to get it at home. He said: "Winning an event is great, winning your first event is even better and winning it at home would be just an absolute dream. I’m just going to try and enjoy it and we’ll see what happens."

Leader Forsström brings his A game

Simon Forsström produced some magic moments as he kept his nose in front with a second-round 67. Having started at the tenth tee, he went close to holing his tee-shot on the short 15th before chipping in for a birdie at the sixth. The Swede leads by one shot going into the weekend.

Ko makes big move

Jeong weon Ko shot back-to-back 66s on Thursday and Friday to get within one shot of halfway leader Forsström. The Frenchman finished his second round with a flourish, holing from 25 feet at the ninth for a closing birdie to get to ten under.

Ramsay lands extraordinary eagle

Scotland's Richie Ramsay produced one of the shots of the day at the 17th as he span his approach into the hole for a memorable eagle. Well done, Richie.

No putter required for Molinari
