Here's what you missed: 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic

Patrick Reed won his first Rolex Series event title after a composed four-shot victory at the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

It has been an eventful week, on and off the course, as the American claimed his fourth DP World Tour title.

Here are some of the things you may have missed at Emirates Golf Club.

500 up for Fisher

Ross Fisher teed up at his 500th DP World Tour event at Emirates Golf Club. In a career spanning over 20 years, Fisher has won on five occasions, been a Ryder Cup winner and carded a course record 61 on the Old Course at St Andrews. Andy Sullivan's ball had one of the best views of the 18th green in the house when he overshot his second shot on Moving Day. The Englishman then battled back from four bogeys on his front nine on Sunday to card a one-under 71 to finish in solo second at ten under.

Hovland holes landmark birdie

Viktor Hovland had the honour of holing the 40,000th birdie at this event since 1999 with his three at the penultimate hole during the third round.  The Norwegian is in the lengthy process of a swing change, but he was flawless in his 65 - the joint lowest round of the week - as he charged up the leaderboard on Moving Day, before settling for a share of 14th.
