What's in the bag: Tom Kim's winning set-up at the Genesis Scottish Open

Tom Kim had his stellar iron play to thank after winning his first Rolex Series and DP World Tour title at the Genesis Scottish Open.

The South Korean was second for Strokes Gained Approach across the week at +2.08, the best of any player who played all four rounds.

Nowhere was this better evidenced than his approach shot into the 16th on Sunday, which left him six feet for a birdie that released some of the pressure down the stretch and which he said "might be one of the best shots I've hit in my career so far".

He followed it with an almost equally brilliant iron on the par-three 17th but on that occasion could not convert.

Titleist staffer Kim uses T100 irons as well as a T200 utility iron.

At the top of the bag he carries a GTS3 driver, three wood and four wood, while his wedges consist of a Vokey SM10 pitching wedge, Vokey SM9 gap wedge and a Vokey SM9-WW Proto lob wedge.

The 24-year-old carries a SC Newport GSS putter and uses a 2023 Pro V! X ball.
