    Won the biggest title of his career when he defeated then World Number Three Phil Mickelson in a play-off at the 2007 Scottish Open in Loch Lomond, becoming the second Frenchman to win the title after Thomas Levet in 2004.

    He continued his love affair with Scotland in 2008 by capturing the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, then finished tied third at the same event in 2009.

    Pushed Graeme McDowell all the way in the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, finishing runner-up in an historic one-two for European players.
