Issa Nlareb, who is originally from Cameroon but now represents France, enjoyed wins in regional and national events including the Senegal Open in January 2018.

Shortly after, he competed on the Alps Tour for the first time but became seriously ill and bacterial meningitis led to sepsis, requiring amputation of both his legs and losing three fingers on his right hand.

He finished 10th on his debut in the European Individual Championship for Golfers with Disability in the Netherlands in July, 2023, with the ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by AVIV Clinics marking his G4D Tour debut a month later.
