Focused his attention on golf after stopping playing football at 14, and turned professional in 2013 aged 21. Fractured his spine during a car accident in February of 2016, then started playing again in August before entering First Stage of Qualifying School in October that year.

Came through all three stages of European Tour Qualifying School that year, making him a European Tour rookie in 2017.
