Secured his sixth DP World Tour title after nearly four years at the Betfred British Masters. The Dane trailed with two holes to play but finished eagle birdie to win by one stroke at The Belfry.

Played a part in the EurAsia Cup (2014) and in the winning team at the Seve Trophy (2013).

Competed for his country in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and, alongside Søren Kjeldsen, won the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf for Denmark later that year.

Partnering Lucas Bjerregaard, he won the inaugural GolfSixes in 2017.

Lives in London, is a big Manchester United fan and was formerly known as Jacob, but changed to use his middle name Thorbjørn as it is far less common.
